OK, I'll bite. Seven Five things it is.
I've got tagged by both Fiona and Carrie for that meme that's been making the rounds. I haven't been up to anything interesting these days, so here goes nothing:
1) I am 5'7.
2) My crush du jour is Anthony Bourdain, especially since watching the "New Jersey" episode from his show No Reservations and finding out that he spent the first 17 years of his life growing up in the Garden State. Yes, he's a bridge and tunnel guy! You wouldn't have known from reading his bios. They all just state that he was born in New York City and leave it at that.
And he's not just from anywhere in Jersey, he's from freaking Leonia. That's the next town over from where I grew up. He used to drive around aimlessly on the same streets, dined in at the same eateries, and dealt with the same inadequacies of not being born an Italian-American as I did! oh, swoon!

Useless tidbit: This picture is from Anthony Bourdain's visit to Mitsuwa (They love your smile!), a Japanese supermarket, here in Jersey. Back before the smoking ban took effect here, you used to be allowed to smoke in there. In their food court, anyways. But still, smoking in a supermarket? Ah, you gotta love those Japanese. :)
3) Hey, I cut my own hair a couple of weeks ago on a total whim. Really. Kinda crazy, huh?
4) I have close to zero sense of direction. For instance, when I was considering getting DirecTV installed to the house, I had to make sure that the satellite would have a clear view of the southern sky on the roof. Uh, I'm not going to even tell you how long it took me to figure out which way "south" is, it's too embarrassing. And I'm almost useless with a road map.
5) Just like Leah's animosity towards cotton balls, I can't stand that squeaky sound styrofoam makes. The worst is when you buy, like, a new stereo and it's packed in those cutout styrofoam blocks and how it squeaks, squeak, SQUEAKS, when you have to take it out of the box. Agh!
Well, I can only think of five right now. It's late, and I have to go to bed. If you must know more about me, you can look through here and learn everything you always wanted to know about me (but were afraid to ask).

Wow, he's from New Jersey? No wonder I love him!! My in laws are from Teaneck and live in Oradell, and I make my husband go to Mitsuwa every time we visit them...
Just wondering: what is your fave Bergen county lys?

Anthony Bourdain is hot. His TV show is one of my guilty pleasures. Hey, your hair looks cute, so good job with the self-cut.

Love the 5 things, trust you to be different eh :)
I can't believe I didn't notice your haircut - wait, no, have I seen you recently? Why is it only Wednesday, my brain hurts!

I seriously heart Anthony Bourdain. Half the space on my Tivo is filled with episodes of No Reservations. My absolute favorite thing to watch on a rainy day while knitting.
My favorite episode is Miami - where he declares he could make a beurre blanc sauce with both hands tied behind his back and a bong in his mouth. My dream man... ;)

OK, when I read this RSS feed I thought it said you were 57. As in, years old. And I thought, "there is no way?!?!" I was seriously going to email you and find out what moisturizer you use. ;)
