A birthday recap and a plea for help.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. It is quite nice to feel loved. I really appreciated it like you wouldn't believe. :D
My b-day was perfect. I was wined and dined like you wouldn't believe by the boyfriend. We ate dinner at what I can honestly say is the best damn French bistro/sushi bar ever (only in New York, folks) and then took in an evening at the opera the following night. And oh, I almost forgot to mention the dozen long-stemmed roses.
Hmm, I wish I had taken a picture of them a lot sooner when they were less wilted. But still, they're not at all in bad shape considering they've been in that vase for five days now.
Anyhoo, on a more serious note, Susie, one of my most favorite artists/musicians/online buddies needs our help. Can you believe some cretin actually did this??
If you know anything, speak up. If not, help spread the word. I'm sure Susie would appreciate it. You know, the general suckiness of some people really just makes me sad sometimes. :( Oh. Well.

wow, what a spectacular birthday you had!! and the opera too! i just saw carmen on sunday. looks like we both had great experiences at the met :)

I'm glad you had a happy birthday (I did wish you well right? RIGHT??). Sounds divine. What else could you need except french bistro + sushi + opera. That seriously covers my needs right now.
That sucks someone stole her art! What a crappy thing to do.
